Short walk on high cliff path, Main path safe but paths around northern edge can be dangerous in high winds. Great views down onto Filey and Scarborough to the North-West. The rocky Brigg stretching out into the sea can be accessed via Filey beach.
Lovely views. Definitely worth a visit.
The Filey Country Park is a extensive area owned and managed by the Scarborough local Authority. Which includes a large parking area. A caravan and camping site. With a shop. Cafe. Toilet block. And an extensive area. On the cliff top. With the Coastal foot path. A yachting club. Good access to the beach.and the Filey community. The park is an ideal place to come and relax and birdwatch.
Took a walk and had a bacon sandwich at the cafe. Walk was bracing and lovely and sandwich was delicious.
Only used car park for an afternoon for a walk. reasonably priced plenty of room. We will be back & use camp site for a base to explore further.
